Faster Firefox Internet Connection Speed

By default, Firefox is not connecting to Internet in max speed, considering the high load pushed to the servers. But you can make it work faster by some tricks. Here are the common ways summarized from many people’s experience.

Add Pipelines

  1. Open Firefox and type “about:config” in the address bar.
  2. Search the Filter bar to find network.http.pipelining and set it to True by double clicking on it.
  3. Create a new boolean value named network.http.pipelining.firstrequest and set that to True.
  4. Find and set network.http.pipelining.maxrequests to 8.
  5. Find and set network.http.proxy.pipelining to True.
  6. Restart Firefox.

You can also set the pipelining parameters at ease by installing some famous add-ons. Feel free to install any one of these add-ons and adjust the parameters until you feel best.

Remove Delays

  2. Create two new integers named nglayout.initialpaint.delay and content.notify.interval and set them to 0.
  3. Restart Firefox.
